Dr. Richard M. Jay's practice provides second opinions to those patients planning foot and ankle surgery or involved in malpractice or personal injury cases.
Dr.
Jay has dedicated the last 35 years to his foot and ankle surgical practice and
to medical education. Dr. Jay is a Professor of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics at Temple University, and former Director of the Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency
Program and Medical Education at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. He has
authored and edited 22 medical texts and more than 40 surgical journal
articles, and has produced 11 foot and ankle instructional tapes registered
with the Library of Congress. Through his affiliation with Temple University
and Graduate Hospital, he was the lead researcher and investigator in 10 research
projects encompassing surgery, implants, and drug studies. Dr. Jay has
presented lectures on the latest principles of complex foot and ankle surgery, at
over 100 medical and surgical conferences, both national and
international.
